ABOUT THE CONFERENCE:

Hosted by Allen and Angela Blackston, authors of "Fight for Your Marriage", this is not your typical marriage seminar - it's a "time of refreshing" that can help you build the love relationship of your dreams with a long lasting, life changing experience. Whether you are getting married in three to six months or have been married for 50 years - you will get solutions you can use. With transparency, biblical advice and a healthy dose of laughter, Allen and Angela give valuable tips on breaking unhealthy patterns, maintaining healthy marriages and building a strong marriage and family union by choosing to develop a God-honoring, happy, marriage commitment without compromise.

Couples both married and engaged will benefit from this conference. The event will include worship with songwriter, producer, national worship leader and recording artist, Larry Colbert, from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, an opening General Session meeting, two of five different educational breakout sessions to choose from and lunch with a key-note speaker.  We will resume after lunch with worship, an overview of the vision for "Victorious Marriage", ending with a general session message on "One", the new book release from Allen and Angela. The book is a revelation from the book of Genesis that's sure to challenge your theology and help your marriage thrive with a better understanding of unity and oneness. Finally, there will be a time of prayer and impartation where lives will be positively impacted.

The breakout sessions will address topics like Finances, Victorious Come Back, Sex and Intimacy, Blended Family challenges and Communication. The educational breakout sessions will be facilitated by some of the nation's experts in their field of expertise. Group Registration is available for just $105 a couple. Ten or more couples constitute a group.

About the Speakers

Pastor Bob and Sharla Anderson - Opening General Session Speakers

Pastor Bob Anderson, M.Ed. and his wife Sharla have been married 28 years as a testament to Gods glory! They have two children from this beautiful union, 22 and 25 years old. They serve as Pastors over the Family Life area, which include Children's Ministry, Pre and Post Marital areas, Parenting and Marriage Coaching at Covenant Church in Carrollton, Texas. Pastor Bob has 21 years Christian education experience working with families and children as Principal & Headmaster. He is also an ordained minister and has been preaching Gods Word for 22 years with Ministry Focus on Family, Marriage and Child-Rearing. You are sure to be blessed and entertained as he teaches with a unique blend of humor and real life biblical applications to raise Godly and effective families. You will enjoy his ministry and walk away with valuable revelations that you will never forget!

Adam And Misty Rivon - Victorious Finances

Adam and Misty Rivon have been married 9 years. They live in the DFW Metroplex and love to serve their community. The Rivon's met in college and married soon after. Husband, Adam, served in the U.S. Army, was a financial planner and currently contracts with several government agencies to provide financial assistance to military service members. Adam is pursuing his MBA with a concentration in Finance. Misty is a clinical social worker and is employed by an insurance company. The Rivon's have experienced first hand the perils of money mismanagement and having more month than money. They share sound Christian principles regarding money and the management of resources so that others won't lack. Adam's background in finance and Misty's practical experience in social work allow them to meet folks where they are and help build sound budgets and money management habits that will lead to a successful life.

Larry and Julia Colbert - Victorious Come Back

Larry and Julia reside and serve in ministry in Harrisburg, PA with their 3 daughters, Danae, Dominique and Taja.. Larry has traveled abroad as a missionary to several countries including Portugal, Jamaica, Uganda and India. He attended bible school in Nakuru, Kenya. Larry is the President of Lael Music Group, a music producer, worship leader and minister of the Gospel. Julia leads a womens bible study group and co-leads the Singles Ministry at their local church. She is also the President of Lael Publishing Company and a published author and certified Image Consultant. After facing seeming defeat and devastation early on in their relationship, God led them on a journey of restoration. As a result of their restoration, the Colberts have a heart for seeking the lost and aiding in the restoration and consecration of the body of Christ. Today they credit their Victorious Comeback to the transformative Word of God!

Pastor Larry and Lady Natalie Dyer - Victorious Secrets

Pastor Larry L. Dyer serves in ministry along with his wife Lady (Elder) Natalie N. Dyer at Praise Fellowship Worship Center in Little Elm, Texas. Through their years of marriage they have stood alongside one another and declared the truth of God and have been one another's greatest supporters. Demonstrating Godly strategies that will unify and cause marriages to prosper as they believe is Gods purpose for every area of life. Their call is to inspire and provoke all people to be in position for spiritual, relational, financial, physical and emotional growth as the total man must be ministered to in order for a difference to be evident. Prayer and worship in unity is key to a healthy and holy marriage. They are the proud parents of Victoria, Adiya and Lauryn.

Ministers Cedric & Michelle White ­ Victoriously Blended

Cedric and Michelle serve as co-founders of Healing Thine Hearts Family Ministries in Frisco, TX. As Certified Belief Therapists, they coach, minister and provide support to pre-marital and married couples as well as those in need of divorce reconciliation and recovery support. Having experienced the personal rigors and pain of families destroyed by divorce, they set out to promote Gods design for marriage and to join in and fight with every couple desiring a successful union. Their passion for family solidarity partnered them with the State of Texas as trainers and facilitators of the TwoGether in Texas Program ­ a program focused on educating couples prior to their wedding day but even more so decreasing the 54 percent divorce rate of married couples in the state. Their style of ministry, coaching and therapy is both practical and enjoyable, but most importantly- biblical and compassionate.

Mark & Charissa Gaither ­ Keynote Lunch Speaker

Following a fifteen-year career as an engineer, Mark earned a Master of Theology degree at Dallas Theological Seminary, where he discovered a love for teaching and writing. After graduation, he served as the director of creative ministries and writer for Insight for Living, the radio ministry of Chuck Swindoll. Since 2004, he has assisted Dr. Swindoll in the completion of nearly a dozen books, and with the release of Insights on Romans, continues to help write and edit his 15-volume commentary on the entire New Testament. Mark's first book was published in 2008, and he continues to work with other Christian authors to complete their writing projects. Clients include Andy Stanley, John MacArthur, John Eldredge, and Frank Minirth. Mark resides in Frisco, Texas with his wife, Charissa, and their four adult children.

James and Pamela Matthis ­ Victorious Communication

Minister James and Pamela Matthis are a husband and wife team committed to fostering strong and healthy marriages. James and Pamela have been active in marriage ministry for over 10 years as facilitators, retreat presenters and marriage enrichment program developers and are presently leading the Marriage Enrichment Ministry and bible study at Life Changing Faith Christian Fellowship in Frisco, Texas. James and Pamela are trained facilitators on numerous topics who utilize proven techniques to encourage self exploration, active participation and hands on application experiences. They are parents of three children Jason 27 years old, Jordan 21 years old James IV 10 years old and the new love of their lives grandson Jaeden 4. James and Pamela understand the challenges and rewards of Christian marriage and family and teach them within their ministry. James and Pamela endeavor to create an environment which values trust and human dignity while providing the opportunity for personal development using real world and practical biblical engagement. They endeavor for participants to, "get what they came for".

Conference Hosts - Allen and Angela Blackston

The husband and wife team were inspired to help bring reconciliation and restoration to marriages after experiencing challenges in their own marriage. Allen serves as the organization's President and CEO. He is a contributing writer for several magazines and pens the Victorious Message monthly column "From a Husband's Perspective". Allen has a heart for families and believes that strong marriages are the fabric in today's churches and society. Angela is the Vice President of Victorious Marriage and a powerful preacher, teacher and author. As part of her marriage ministry and the need to share her experiences with other women, Angela wrote "Fight for Your Marriage". The book, which includes commentary from Allen at the end of each chapter, was written in 12 rounds to simulate a boxing title fight, shares the lessons learned in the couples marriage which at that point was 18 years. Allen and Angela are marriage life team leaders, pre-marital ⁄ marriage class instructors, and marriage coaches at their local church in Carrollton, Texas. They also provide marriage ⁄ pre-marital coaching through Victorious Marriage, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. They have ministered to couples nationally and internationally, and their forthcoming book "One" will be released August 14th. Allen and Angela reside in Dallas, Texas, with their two daughters, Amber and Ariana
