About Allen Blackston
 

Allen, President and CEO of Victorious Marriage, attended University of Nebraska, Global Outreach University, and Lancaster Theological Seminary. Allen grew up in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and began preaching and teaching the Word of God over 20 years ago.

Of his many passions, Allen has a heart for families and believes strong marriages are the fabric of our society and Churches today. In a time when the institution of marriage is under attack, Allen believes commitment and having a vision for your family is critical. He and his wife Angela are Marriage Life Team Leaders, Pre-Marital/Marriage Class Instructors and  Marriage Coaches at their home chuch in Carrollton, Texas.

Allen helped his wife, Angela complete her first book "Fight for Your Marriage" in November of 2006. Allen played what he describes as a "small role" in the completion of the project and believes his real role was simply to encourage his wife to be the woman God has called her to be and to pursue the vision given to her. Allen is a contributing writer for several magazines and does a monthly column called "From a Husband's Perspective" for Victorious Marriage (Click here to view), and you can also find his commentary at the end of each chapter of the book, "Fight For Your Marriage" which was written to share the lessons learned in their 20 years of marriage.

Together, they founded "Victorious Marriage", a ministry dedicated to marriage and families. They hold marriage conferences nationally and plan to expand into a weekly TV show about marriage. Also, in the works are several resources and other media efforts to promote strong marriages and families.

Allen is the proud father of 2 beautiful daughters, Amber and Ariana.

 

About Angela Blackston

Angela V. Blackston began her ministry in 1994 under the leadership of the late Rev Dr. Scott A. White, Sr. in Steelton Pennsylvania. She resides in Dallas, Texas with her husband Allen and their 2 precious daughters, Amber and Ariana.

She is a powerful and passionate preacher, teacher and author. Positioned as an instrument in the Kingdom of God, she has touched the lives of many hurting women. Being called to bring about radical change and spiritual growth to many around the world, she equips couples to help maintain successful marriages. Angela has ministered in the US and internationally. God has blessed her with the gift to minister in a creative and insightful way and she has become a mouthpiece of edification and empowerment to many.

Today, marriage as we've known it is under attack. This puts enormous strain on relationships but also on children in homes around the globe. One day, God spoke to Angela about something...

She was inspired to write "Fight For Your Marriage" as part of her marriage ministry but also from the need to share her experiences with other women. Written in 12 "rounds," the book simulates a title fight in the sport of Boxing. It builds up to the end where you experience "Knock out time". It has been a huge success as it outlines the challenges she faced in almost 20 years of marriage. "Becoming one in the sight of God is an awesome thing that can bring about some of the biggest challenges couples are likely to face in their lives" she says. If she can keep others from making some of the mistakes that she made in her marriage, she feels "Fight for Your Marriage" is a success!
